Dive Against Debris” Dive Cleanup – Saturday, July 12, 2014 Bunces Pass Bridge,

Volunteers needed for this event include:
- Divers - All divers must be Open Water certified with at least 15 open water dives in their logbook. On the day of the dive cleanup, dive volunteers must submit their signed liability form (will be sent separately with Dive Plan).
- Kayaks/canoes – Volunteers with kayaks or paddleboards will support the divers in the water and watch for boat traffic.
- Safety observers – Need shore safety observers to assist divers in and out of the water and monitor for boat traffic.
- Data collectors - Document debris collected for submission to Ocean Conservancy’s Marine Debris Index.
- Shore Cleanup Volunteers – Cleanup shoreline of trash and debris

EVENT LOCATION: Bunces Pass Bridge- Latitude: 27° 65.131’ N Longitude: 82° 71.651’ W. 300 yards south of Tampa Bay Watch (3000 Pinellas Bayway S, Tierra Verde, FL 33715) EVENT DATE/TIME: Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 8am-12pm.
POC: To volunteer for this event please go to tampabaygreenconsortium.org/?p=1053 and fill out the online form (for event, put Cunningham Key Cleanup). Identify the position you are volunteering for. If you are volunteering as a diver, a required liability form will be sent.

Scott Lucci (World of Water, Incorporated and Al Jeffrey (Scuba Quest) have graciously offered to provide tanks (or air) for those who need it (based on availability). World of Water will also provide dive gear as needed. Call ahead and please ensure you bring in your dive cards when picking up your tanks/gear.
