St Maarten is my favorite place to dive in the Carrib.. there are some amazing wrecks and during a night dive there is photolumenescent phytoplankton, they light up when you move your hands, its amazing ! We went with the local dive company at the resort in Phillipsburg, the operators were amazing and have since opened their own at a new location look up "Blue safaris st. Maarten, they were fantastic and made our diving trip fantastic. They are what full service diving should be. They do kinda spoil you though...
I can’t wait to go back.

Used Dive Safaris when we had a cruise stop. They picked us up at the cruise dock which was awesome. We did a shark dive almost right behind the cruise ship, which you held onto cinder blocks. If you do that watch for the sergeant major fish. I guess I was invading his space and he’d peck at my fingers. Pretty cool dive at about 60 feet.
