Rebuilding ScubaPro Glide Plus BC

I have a ScubaPro Glide Plus that I use as a pool and backup jacket. It has developed some small valve leaks that I have fixed by replacing the inflator with a Zeagle BX type that can be used to flush, clean and add BC Life solution. The lower dump valves seem to seal off after replacing the gaskets. The problem is rebuilding or replacing the shoulder valve off the inflator hose. Has anyone rebuilt one of these? I am pretty sure I could put a higher quality Dive-Rite, OMS or Zeagle one in its place with some sort of adapter. If possible though, I would like to rebuild the current one. I do have the BC tool for removing and overhaul.

I have never had any of these troubles with my Zeagle Ranger and both are cared for in the same way and stored indoors.

you can try here > http://www.northeastscubasupply.com/

They have one of everything, and depending on who is manning the phones you might get the answer you need.

I’m sure NESS will have what you need and I’m sure that valve isn’t exclusive to ScubaPro either.

The upper dump valve on your ScubaPro BC gets a new seal everytime an Air2 gets serviced. Why not take it to the dive shop for less then $20 ? The seal is only maybe a $1. part. Dive with your Zeable ranger enough tn the chlorine pool and the rubber seal will start to deteriorate also over heavy use.

I tried twice at two dive shops and spent $60 dollars only to have it leak again. Finally bought a shoulder dump on ebay for $25. Works like a charm now. Its a pool jacket so I am not that picky. I would definitely prefer an adapter so that a Zeagle, Dive-Rite or OMS could be used. Certainly sealed my every buying any product from Scubapro.
