Baltimore Aquarium Dives

Has anyone done the 2 thirty minute dives offered through the Baltimore Aquarium? Myself and a friend are looking to do the dive Mid-June and I just wanted some opinions from those who have completed these dives. Is it worth the extra $30 to get the Aquarium Diver Certification? Can it be applied as one of the four specialty courses required for Advanced Open Water? I’ve seen the youtube videos online and it looks pretty cool, the cost of the course is pretty pricey- just want to make sure it is definitely worth it. Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

Do you mean "the four specialty courses required for" Master Diver? I would double check that with PADI

I was at Disney in September and my granddaughters wanted me to dive the Living Ocean, that’s another pricy dive among fake coral and you are paying to entertain the other paying guest :(

I have dove the the Disney Dive twice and dove the Georgia Aquarium twice.. They are great. Where else are you for sure to swim with all that wild life, Whale Sharks, Manta Rays, etc. I’m a diver at the Newport Aquarium. Love feeding the fish.

I enjoyed the Baltimore dives. It’s a one time thing but a pleasant day. The staff could not be more helpful and professional. I paid for the cert, after $295 for the dives the $30 was not that much more.
Like I said, it’s a good day but it’s not that big an aquarium. Have fun.
