Haven’t done this before (officially) but now that Lobster Season is over, would love to go diving for scallops in the Southern California area. Anyone up for it?

I’ve never dove for scallops, but would love to try. Where do you go? I’ve been on rig trips where divers pick them off of the rig structure.

I actually ate my first scallop underwater not long ago. Saw it on an Anacapa dive. It was amazing! Not I want to try an oil rig dive to try for more. Gotta see who’s scheduling one.

pac star regularly has trips scheduled out to the rigs, and usually a wreck dive on the olympic II to make it a 3-dive day.
