Question about Hawaii.

Is there such a thing as an all inclusive beach resort with it’s own (on-site) dive operation on the island of Maui? Or any other Hawaiian island for that matter? I have seen numerous web sites of all the dive operators, but they all seam to be just dive shops. No cooking, no driving, no walking, just dive, eat, and sleep. That’s my vision of vacations.

Hey Josef, Can you believe i have been on line for the past week trying to find the same info. about Hawaii as you! I too am looking for an all inclusive resort on any Hawaiian Island with on site shore or boat diving. I hope someone can help us out. If you do find a resort please let me know.

I have been to some all inclusive places in Philippines and Cozumel and I absolutely loved it! The last thing I want to do is driving, I get enough of that here in LA! Schlepping my gear from parking lot to the beach falls in to the same category, even though I do it occasionally.

Hey Joe, buddy o pal. I was just there a couple years ago and stayed at the Sheraton so that I could dive Black Rock reef right off their beach. They have a Five Star diver service with a booth on the property. I paid for a guided tour while there. However.....boooooring! Not much to see on that reef but a few sleeping turtles. If I wanted to dive Maui again I’d stay at a hotel in downtown Lahaina, within walking distance of Lahaina Divers. Their boats go out every day, twice a day. That way you are free to do your own thing if you want, plus you can take their daily boat trips as you wish to dive sites like Molokini Crater, the backside of Molokini, Turtle Beach and the Cathedral Caverns on the Island of Lanai, plus many more. You will not get bored that way!

never heard or an all inclusive in Hawaii. I would be nice. If you go to Oahu and stay in Waikiki, there a few of the dive shops that will pick you from your hotel and drop you off when you’re done.

I just got home from Oahu yesterday. I dove with AquaZone in Waikiki. they have a 7 day unlimited. (2 morning dives & 2 afternoon dives) So I got in 28 dives while I was there. Great trip! Now I just have 3000 diving pix and 6 or 7 hours of video to go through and edit. :( good luck!

My friend, who owns a Tech diving place here in Oahu says he has never heard of an all-inclusive place anywhere in Hawaii.... But sounds like a great business opportunity! Good luck. Hawaii diving is great! :)
