 Planning a trip to Floriday Keys in Dec need recommendations

We will be traveling from Orlando to the FLorida Keys 12/5-12/10. Any recommendations for dive sites, dive shops or suppliers would be greatly appreciated.

I live in south Florida and dive in the Keys every week. And let me tell you, from Key Largo all the way to Key West there are no bad sites. Just depends what we want to see. Reefs or wrecks, we have it all. Enjoy.

"It’s a Dive" is no more. The owner sold it back in Feb. and moved to Atlanta. Same pople operate it though but they got rid of the 6 pack boat so it’s hit and miss if you want to do the wrecks because they often have snorkelers on the boat. Same location at the Marriot and now it’s called Pirate Island Divers.

I can recommend Against Amy Amoray’s Diving. We went in 2008 and found rude staff (including the owner) and dangerous diving practices. Your experience may vary.

Our dive club makes a trip every winter to Key Largo. After trying Island Ventures - We won’t do anyone else.

Garden Cove Divers has nice 36’ Crusader that will only take out 6 divers. Plenty of room for everyone to roam around.
