Any one ever done one? What did you like and what did you bring. My wife signed me up for one.... said a break was needed. I’m not sure for whom.

It’s camping at sea, bunkbed, no privacy, eat, dive, dive, eat dive, dive, eat and maybe a night dive and then back into a bunk while your suit and towel dry on the lifelines. What more could you ask for, this is not a trip for a romantic getaway!

The dive profile is 60’ for every dive since the area is so flat (the down side is if there is any weather it can be too rough to dive). It is easy to get 4 - 5 dives a day but expect 2 morning dives, 1 mid-afternoon dive and an option of a night dive if you can talk somebody into diving with you. Bring your compass and navigational skill as you plan your dive and dive your plan. Also, the water was colder than I’d thought it would be.

It is just like going to camp. Be prepared for no privacy. If you love talking diving 24/7 there is no better place to do it than a liveaboard and with the limit room and ammenties on Blackbeard you can do just that.
