Hi,
I’m travelling to the US from the UK in October, and someone has recommended that I try diving the Edmunds Underwater Park on the north side of Seattle, as I’m in the area. Not sure exactly what dates I’ll be there yet, but likely to be around Wednesday the 20th. Anyone up for it?
Thanks,
James.

Here is a great site for finding a dive buddy here in the PNW. www.nwdiveclub.com. I know you will be able to find someone to dive with and it is free to register. There are plenty of shore access dive sites here. Depends on where you are staying? I live closer to Tacoma,WA. and dive the southern end of Puget Sound usually on Thursday afternoons. My screen name on the nwdiveclub site is pogiguy05.

Sorry, to answer the rest of your message, I haven’t made any definite plans yet, so not really sure where I’ll be staying or anything. Someone just suggested I might like Edmunds so I posted that. Anywhere you can recommend in the area though would be much appreciated! :-)
Cheers,
James.

There are plenty of shores dives here. Water temp right now is about 56 degrees and the visibility could be good or bad.Usually visibility is about 15fsw. I am sure I have seen your post on the message board and you will find alot of people to dive with just about any time of the week.Edmunds Underwater Park is a large shallow reef built over the past 30 years by volunteers.Parking can be a pain in the butt.Just keep posted on when you will be here and you will find enough dive buddies I am sure on the boards.

Thanks Jeff,
Like I said, not 100% sure when I’ll be there, but will be a day or two either side of Ocotber 20th - I’m diving in Victoria BC on Monday 18th and then have to be in San Francisco on Saturday 23rd at the latest, so have a few days to fill between then.
Not sure where I want to dive, I’m hoping for recommendations from locals that know the dive sites in the area. I’m not particularly interested in wrecks, more interested in the marine life (big and small) - that’s what happens when you learn to dive with marine biologists!
Cheers,
James.

Tim, can’t find that facebook group - are you sure the name is right? Looks like I will definitely be in the Seattle area Wednesday 20th, so if anyone is up for diving that day?
