Ok my question has to do with lobstering in New England.

1st It states in the Ma recreational lobstering guide that when diving for lobster the diver must display a dive flag on the surface of water as well as one on their TANK if I’m snorkeling for lobster and have no tank do I need that 2nd flag? is snorkeling actually considered diving in that rule?

and 2nd can anyone tell me any hot spots to snorkel for lobster in New England south shore area......

I would check with MA state DEP for the rules and regs of lobstering, each state is different, in CT you need a lobster liscense about $60 and that is about it, as long as the lobster is a legal size.

Most people that know of "hot spots" aren’t going to share them over the world wide web because soon enough they wouldn’t be hot spots any more. Any way half the fun is finding the hot spots. Hint look for rocks.

Good hunting
