Hi! I’ve planned a trip to Sharm el Sheik, Egypt for 22 February - 27 February 2010. No hotel booked yet, but I was considering a place on Nabq Bay! Flying solo at the moment....first time to Egypt and the Red Sea! I’m down for seeing the pyramids if there’s time as well, but I hear it’s a long bus ride! Very adventurous spirit here though!

I have been there...you’ll have a great time. I stood at a hotel called Oonas Dive Club, reasonable rates, great location, and sound dive operation. If you have any other questions, feel free to send me a message.

Just got back from there. If you have a good guide who can arrange it (and I do mean good as security is very tight, and if he’s not good you won’t get there with enough time to do anything), take a day trip to Dahab to dive the Blue Hole (and it will be all day, leave Sharm 5am, back at 10pm). I found it a lot more peaceful and relaxing than diving Sharm.
