 Side Scan Sonar

Has anyone used any of the more economical side scan sonar systems currently available? Deep Vision, Edge Tech or the Hummingbird 1100 series?
Just getting into this and would appreciate ANY feedback.

I am a lieutenant on the Sampson County Dive Team (NC) and we researched a few and bought the hummingbird. You have to work with it to get the feel of it but it has been used to in several body recoveries and helped solve a nine year old homicide case. It is sharp in resolution and very adaptable.
