I was heading out on my boat for lobster, but was going out tomorrow night, just before midnight. Me and a couple others are probably meeting up around 9-10pm to possibly use 1-2 tanks for scouting first (have some food/drinks), then hop in with the 2nd r 3rd tank for catching them at midnight if we find some good spots.

I was thinking of possible using 3 tanks, and starting the scouting even earlier; Because, I want the dives for catching them to be relatively quick 5-15 mins. If we find any good spots we’ll mark them on GPS, a bit before midnight, then go back to the best spots when the time comes.

I doubt that, between everyone with a license on our boat, we’ll catch our limit for the first day. So, I’m also heading out with one my buddies in the morning at 6am on a dive boat, so I don’t plan on being out too long after midnight. I hope to be done/home by 2am for a quick nap. Pickings are usually slim on the 2nd night, so I doubt that I’d go Thursday. There may only be 3 of us diving, so we might want another diver if you wanted to go.

Hope your not planning on scuba diving for Lobsters at Night in Florida. A 9pm dive start time will put you outside of legal time for gathering with in about 10 minutes of your start time.
