has anyone been scalopin in thte hernando fl gulf. i have been out about 3x since opening day they are hard to find .not like the last 2 years, tried both shallow and the 10-15 have to really look hard,to find them.

we were out at bayport about a month ago just snorkeling to see if there were going to be any.

The ones we saw were hard to see they had like a clover looking green stuff growing ontop of the shells.

We were always partial to finding them in the Chiefland area.
