Hi Jacob. I’m down is South Seattle (Portland) but have been diving the Sound for about a year. I’m similar in experience in that I got certified in 2009 logged 8 dives then promptly stopped diving. I’m Advanced now and up to about 30 dives and I can always use a safe dive buddy. Weekends or week days work better for you?
You might also want to go to a local dive shop and take an in pool refresher course. I took one before and it was a big help getting back in.
