Good morning Greg, on the Cape that’s going to depend on which direction the wind is blowing but the other side isn’t that long of a drive. When I was stationed at Otis AFB I had just started SCUBA and was looking for beach dives but never found anything but sand and in the 60’s there wasn’t a LDS or dive boat.
We did a whale watching trip out of P-town and even that on a big boat got blown out 3 days :(
