I have the same problem. Every so often, my boots, gloves or wetsuit starts to show signs of wear. So, aquaseal is my solution. Make sure you prep your workbench, so that any drips or drops does not mess good things, like your other scuba gear. Make sure your location for drying is clear from people moving it. Do not worry if you need to make a second application of the seal. Sometimes the gel moves to another spot. Well, just try again.
