Yeah, man, I hacked the original mercilessly to get it down to where I did! Thanks for opening up the limit.
The bummer is not knowing how far over you’ve gone and having to go back and edit/prune on a trial-and error basis. Being able to track the length dynamically would allow members to post richer comments. Seems likely that some have just gotten into the habit of ultra-short comments to avoid the cap.
Can you put a word counter on your development list?
