I went on Aggressor, heard stories about I think it was Big Blue, their Captain was having diner aboard the Aggressor (those who had eaten aboard his ship said that was a smart move) while he had divers in the water (dumb move). Watching Dancer wallow made me nervous, she always looks too low in the water.

September is best for whale sharks but your results may vary. Saw all the advertized stuff, did SI’s snorkeling with humpbacks and pilot whales.

Diving is advanced, high current, chilly water so don’t believe that "you can do this trip in a 3mil" crap, bring PolarTec for the SI, blue water safety stops while surrounded by hammerheads all while diving from a small boat (panga) that you need to pull yourself into.

Equador doesn’t permit diveboats to do island tours anymore so if you want to go ashore you’ll need to book that before or after the liveaboard.

That’s the good news, the bad news is on the way home you are going to ask yourself; How in the hell am I going to top that!
