I have 3 pairs of the Doc Pro Plugs. I had a dive incident last November that damaged my right ear. I`ve since had surgery and now use the pro plugs when I dive. The plugs have a small hole in them to help with the equilizing as you descend and ascend, and also keeps the water out. I`ve used them in cold water as that`s where I mainly dive and have had no trouble, wearing my hoody helps keep them in place also. You can get them fitted for your ear canal so you get the right size for you. I keep alcohol wipes in my bag to clean them after every dive. Take a look at the website on the pro plugs and if you have any questions you can ask the company, you`ll get some great feedback. The pro plugs have helped keep me diving since my incident and I`ll continue to use them. Most dive shops can order them for you if they don`t carry them. The actual company itself can also send them to you, but they`ll send you the sizing stuff first before you order them. The cost is pretty cheap, around $15 Canadian per set is what I paid.
