hey, punta cana is absolutely stunning, but for me the diving is less than spectacular. it’s caribbean clear, but the coral isn’t quite pristine. worth going once or twice, but so much to do in punta cana i wouldn’t spend the whole time underwater. altos de chavon! beacombing! salsa dancing! rum rum rum! dive shops will have basic rental gear if you don’t wanna travel with it. bon voyage!
