From sadfish: Does anyone use those bag looking cases for their slr or dlsr cameras. I was thinking of getting one just so I can start doing a little photography. I do not want to wreck my camera though. Thanks, Tim

I wouldn’t take a chance on a those ziplock bag style bags for anything other than keeping the camera dry from splashs on the boat. If you don’t have the camera yet look at Canon and Olympus, they have inexpensive camera and housing packages that are good to 120’.

Ikelite makes good housings and stands behind their product. Metal cases will cost you alot more.

Like Smitty said, a Pelican case to protect the camera and housing while out of the water but a good padded lunch box works to and it’s easier to store on a liveaboard.
