Bonaire is AWESOME! It is part of the ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) 50 miles of the coast of Venezula.I go once a year. I have stayed at Capt’n Don’s , Sun Rentals Apartments(downtown, dive shop on the property that is associated with Buddy Dive) and my latest trip I stated at Buddy Dive Resort, had one bedroom apt, probably the best deal. The shore diving is so easy. You can take a boat over to Klein Bonaire, but spend all your time riding a boat. I usually make 2 dives in the morning, lunch, then 2 dives in the afternoon and possibly either a night dive or dawn dive(awesome experience). I am heading back in April.
