Yeah, I was trained to never dive alone...then working on my Dive Master I’m told to dive out by myself and set a buoy for students or hide an object for the search and recovery specialty...not a big deal...if I’m not back in 10 min somebody is coming out after me...

My issue is I am scared of the water, heights, tight places, the dark, and many other things. I Scuba Dive to get over my fear of water, dive wrecks, etc for the tight spaces and the dark and I sky dive for heights...when "solo diving" my heart races and I have issues, which so far I have overcome to avoid panicking; however, I am not comfortable alone underwater and prefer a dive buddy....so long story short I concur with the "dive within your comfort level, training, experience, and current preparedness."
