 Diving Bon Terre Mine in Missouri?

Has anyone out there dove the mines in Missouri? The articles make it look exotic and unique but from some of the comments I’ve read (thanks Sandra!) it sounds like it pretty much sucks. There’s a group going from my home town but I can’t get a feel for whether it’s worth the trip or if I should just save my $ for a real dive trip.
