 Oahu shore diving late October?

Been to Hawaii diving but never in October. Any recommendations for shore diving late October with 12 year old grandson. Reasonably easy shore entry required for him to get in out of water. Once in he is ok. I love sharks cove but can’t be good in October. Thanks for any info.
