I’ll send a message to a few members in the AZ area incase they’re able to meet up with you!

Haven’t dived there myself.

Under normal circumstance I’d be willing to show you around the entry points at the lake however I’m scheduled for a trip to Rocky Point Mexico for the weekend. Maybe another time.

I’m currently out of state, I did some dives there for my cert but you have to expect ZERO viz in that lake, it will be cold so
wear the most thermal protection you have. call the local Phoenix dive shops (start with those that are located on the west side of Phx) to see if they can offer you any dive buddy names or, perhaps they have club members that would be going there. good luck on finding a buddy

The best spot and they hold OW, AOW, Rescue, DM and IDC diving there is Tortoise Bay. I would love to join you but have a Air Fill Station class all day and a scuba refresher on Sunday.

Tortoise Bay is a nice pretty safe cove to dive in and there are usually plenty of divers out there from 07:00 to Noon. There is a lot of slit if you touch bottom and the visibility is not the best in the world. But I have not dove many lakes that have great vis anyway. Be safe and have a good time. I would suggest you check this web site "http://www.maricopa.gov/parks/" for lake information.
