[Choose #1] Neither. My group uses a closed fist bounced off the top of the head. It can be seen from a distance both above and below water. Hand signals as pictured above are only good if you are very colse together and can be confusing.

[Choose #1] Never even heard of pinching. The people I dive with would prabably think I want to blaze one, then I would get the circle OK back. LOL
