Is anyone planning on diving Blue Heron Bridge anytime soon? I’ve never done it. Have all my equipmet, solo diver but would like to learn this dive from someone who has done it. Only thing missing for me is a dive flag. I am not from the area but have been out on boats this week.

I’m in WPB maybe we can car pool or meet there.

If you don’t get any response I would still go, there is always someone diving at slack high tide, even during the week. Tell them your new to the site and can you tag along for a tour. You might also check with Force-E just before the bridge, there are usually some there picking up air. Look on FB for the Blue Heron Bridge dive club.

The life guard won’t let you enter from the swimming area, stay outside the floats. Out under the mooring field is a small wreck, pile of shopping carts, both have little stuff hiding there. Around the morring anchors are eels and arrow crabs, there is a metal box in the sand, there is usually an octipus inside.

The east span was being worked on, if they are done look under it for more macro, frogfish and seahorses.

The west span is busier, stay away from the boat traffic!

Don’t get focused on the bottom, there are assorted rays here and manatee’s, have a good time.
