Does anyone know of a few good/great spots to dive around the Jacksonville, Florida area. Shore dives would be best, not planning on chartering a boat, but may have to. Thanks!

I don’t know that area but check "dive sites" on here and http://www.shorediving.com/Earth/USA_East/Florida/index.htm

Are you determined to go dive in the ocean ? If not, there are a lot of beautiful springs within a couple of hours of Jacksonville. I like Ginnie Springs.

You should at least consider using them as a plan B in case the ocean doesn’t cooperate.

You ar enot close to any good ocean dives, Head up towards the springs, You can either dive blue grotto or the devils den, DD is pretty cool, Ive done it twice, at least you can clean your gear in the fresh water.

Ditto on the springs. I think you also have some OK rivers in your area too (say hi to pond bear swilley).
