The Parc des Ancres de Pointe-des-Cascades is a beautiful place, perfect for a family picnic followed by a little dive. It is also a very good place, near Montreal, to do a night dive. You can observe the remains of one of the many locks of this old maritime see. This place is home to several species such as pike, sunfish, bullheads, carp, perch, eels, crayfish, and mudpuppies. This place is quite popular during the summer for diving certifications.

Beware zebra mussles. Thoroughly wash gear after diving this site to prevent spread of invasive species.
