Harbor Reef is located off the coast of Aruba’s capital, Oranjestad, and is a favorite haunt for Parrotfish, Butterflyfish and Angelfish. Indeed, the diving here can offer more than enough to keep the underwater photographer busy.
The reef past Renaissance Island widens and improves again from here to the harbor exit of Oranjestad. Beyond that is the harbor reef, with clear waters and an abundance of extremely high soft corals along its slope. Sometimes it feels as if you are swimming in the woods with strange trees all around due to the abundance of sea fans.
