Le Chaouen, aka Chefchaouen is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Marseille, Planier Island, France. The maximum depth is 101-110ft/31-34m. The average visibility is 61-70ft/19-21m.

A cargo wreck that sank in 1970 while hauling oranges. Today, it rests on its port side between 30 and 100 feet. The colorful mast is covered in large red gorgonians while schools of sardines and sea breams patrol the entire wreck.

The Chaouen was a Morroco cargo carying citrus fruits. Due to a human fault, the Chaouen sunk fubruary 22, 1971 at 2:30 pm
