Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is a shore accessible salt water dive site, located at 1 Canal St, New Orleans, LA 70130. This dive site has an average rating of 3.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. Certified divers are invited to experience the Aquarium from behind the glass. SCUBA dive with cow-nose rays and hundreds of beautiful tropical fish right here in New Orleans.

Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 10:30am and 1:30pm.
Tickets are $250 for non-members/$225 for members.
Dive experience will last approximately 2 hours, with about 45 minutes in the Reef.
Each time slot is limited to a maximum of 4 participants.
SCUBA experience is open to certified divers 10 years and older. Those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a paid, participating adult.
Non-participants (friends and family) must observe from the exhibit public space.
Participants must arrive 30 minutes ahead of time.
Each participant must bring their own swim suit.
Each diver must bring proof of certification.
Personal dive gear is not permitted, but guests may bring their own masks.
Guests with allergic sensitivity to marine animals should be aware that this is a simulated ocean environment.

Nitediver - 4/23/2015 4:25 AM Rating Added: 3 This is a been there done that dive. Once around this small aquarium and you’re done too. Only 2 divers at a time and not a great deal of maneuvering room near the bottom, very controlled diving and free to move about. A large number of cownose rays, angel, and other fish and you can bring your own GoPro or one is provided for you. Take your own video and it’s $25.00 if you want to keep a copy of the video. Did see several lobsters and bleanie. Also fed the rays which is not a great idea because they swarm and then pester you. Friends can watch you dive and you can have up to 4 divers during a time slot.
