Three Oaks Recreation Area was opened in 2013 for SCUBA training ONLY. Instructor or Dive Shop MUST file insurance docs to be able to bring students. It is a good open water training facility and rumors are it will be opened to public for diving in the next couple of years. However 3 Oaks primarily is a Fishing lake and beach so scuba divers are limited to small designated area. Diving area has 4 platforms at about 20-25 ft of water. Visibility usually over 50 Ft.

periwinkle - 6/22/2018 1:33 PM Just went diving there on 6/20/18. The visibility was great, and zillions of new born fish. Its great for a practice or refresher dive. There was a buoyancy course of triangles and such, and a few concrete tubes to swim through.
