Pebble Beach - Sister Bay WI

Loading...
Pebble Beach is a shore accessible fresh water dive site, located in Sister Bay, WI. This dive site has an average rating of 3.00 out of 5 from 1 scuba divers. The maximum depth is 26-30ft/8-9m. The average visibility is 26-30ft/8-9m.

Smooth white pebbles line the beach here, and they make a neat sound as waves crash against them! As far as the diving, this is an easy site with little to no current, depths from 18’-30’ and plenty of fish to look at if you skirt the rock walls to the South/SouthWest. I didn’t go to the North because of boat traffic (there’s a dock there and a restaurant/bar that stays quite busy in the summer). You can find some old peir pilings (none vertical that I found, unfortunately) about 200 yards off the south "point" headed back toward the center of the bay. The wooden "logs" are in about 25’-33’ of water and they’re not really much to look at, but hey - it’s something you can challenge yourself to find! Freshwater Gobies line the bottom like the plague, and can be fun to play with. :) (Hint: Just sit still!)

Among other fish species I saw are smallmouth bass, crappie, bluegill, rock bass, perch, and walleye.

Catch a beautiful sunset to the southwest, then grab a beer and burger at the restaurant (or bring your own picnic basket - Alcohol is allowed as far as I know on this free public beach)

If you’re in the area and want to blow some bubbles, definitely check this site out. It’s a very easy dive for all skill levels.
