Underwater attractions include a school bus, VW Beetle, van, small plane, torpedos, tanker truck which you can swim into, the "habitat" which you can also swim into, crane, RR tracks and cars, fire truck, a few small boats and the main attraction: The Quest, which is a 72 ft. trawler ship sunk at 42’. Shore fishing is allowed for overnight campers. The lake supports populations of rainbow trout, brown trout, brook trout, small & largemouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, walleye, yellow perch, chain pickeral, catfish, american eel, and a few large koi.

We dove Willow Springs yesterday to finish my SDI Solo Diver certification w/ Ed K from South Jersey Scuba. Conditions were much better than I had heard. Viz was medium, but ok for a quarry, and the temp was reasonable for diving 7mm in late October. There were handy well-labeled lines running between all of the attractions. It bottomed out at 46 feet. There were many fish swimming around and a number of the normal sunken curiosities. I had a good time and wouldn’t mind going back. The class was great as well.

I think Willow Springs is closed now. I tried to call a few times and also got no answer. Anyone have any info on this place?

Is this place still around? I can’t find much news past 2016 and nobody answers the phone.
