Palancar Reef is a boat accessible salt water dive site, located in Cozumel, Quintana Roo, Mexico. This dive site has an average rating of 4.43 out of 5 from 63 scuba divers. One of the many dive sites located off of the coast of Cozumel. Drift diving, very clear water. Just get neutrally buoyant and let the current drift you slowly past a lot of great reef structure. Sea turtles (hawks bill and green), some eels (green and spotted), and lots of fish to see.

DerekR - 3/07/2018 1:32 PM Rating Added: 4 Usually outstanding vis, and fairly warm temp’s. Encounters with sea life can be spotty, with few fish on some days and schools of them on others. More sand and rocks than coral, but there are stretches that are beautiful. This is a must dive location.
