See notes in divelog. Graham was totally preoccupied psychologically and I can only presume that it had to do with a bad report from his doctor saying he was pre-diabetic.

He would not keep up with me no matter how many times I stopped, or signaled him. He never responded to my light signals inquiring if he was okay, and when I thought he was on my heels, and adhering to our jump onto the Mud Tunnel jump from the Big Room, turns out he never made the jump.

I waited 5" and he never came. Rather than guess which way he may have gone, I opted to wait at the Expressway jump where our stage bottles were docked.

Waited there 5" as well, and even went to the goldline to see if he was coming. He was not.

I grabbed my bottle and waited by the sign at the foot of the Ear where our O2 bottles were. Finally, about 5" later, he arrived and thumbed the dive rather than venture into the Catacombs.

Of course he tried to blame me for being so fast.

Post dive discussion had us agree to do the same dive next week, I’d slow down, he’d speed up, and I’d wait for him, no matter what.
