We dove the southern portion of the reef this time as our DM, Canicio, wanted to find some rays and turtles for 1 of the diver’s 200th dive. We were along the cruise ship channel and saw very nice soft & hard corals, numerous green and spotted eels, and a spotted eagle ray. Canicio also found an octopus, and pointed out 4 lobster hiding under a coral head. He also later explained how to tell a male vs female lobster when no eggs are present - the female has an extra set of "swimmerets" for carrying her eggs. We dove with Aruba Mermaid Divers.
