The island use to be surrounded by kelp. There is also the pinnacle that comes up to about 3 ft of the surface of the ocean about a mile off the island....

Finally took the boat to the lake for testing.
The boat ran ok, but not perfect. Its a 28ft cabin cruiser, beds, kitchen with microwave, bath with shower, enough to live on for a few days. My top speed was 50.8 MPH GPS, I complained to my engine builder still needs some more work. So no diving yet & I have to put it away for a few weeks until I sell my house & I still have the cleaning party to do, a day cleaning the boat for a day diving....

The boat in the picture just finished sailing the world here is where they went. SHE, began her Round the World Circumnavigation on July 29, 1998 from Palma De Mallorca and completed her voyage July 29, 2003.
