I saw this on an episode of Ripley`s Believe It or Not last night and couldn`t believe what I was seeing...a dog that was diving with it`s owner. The dog`s name is Shadow and his owner is a retired engineer. He noticed that when he would descend on a dive, the dog would try to follow him. This guy engineered canine dive equipment and tested on his dog in a swimming pool. The equipment had two-way communication in it so he could give the dog commands and after about 20 minutes in the pool, he decided the dog was ready for an open water dive. To date (I`m sure yesterday was a repeat episode) the dog had logged 392 open water dives!!! That`s many more than I currently have logged...I`m jealous of a dog!! Anyone else ever seen this dog in action?
