The DiveBuddy get together at the Devil`s Den in July, 2007 was awesome! Tami, Paul and Rowena were great hosts. The trip was very relaxing for Becky and I. We didn`t have the kids with us so we got to spend some good quality time together.
The underground den was so beautiful. The water was clear and cool. Large catfish swam around in the den. The den is basically an old sink hole that is shaped like a donut with plenty of caverns to dive around in. They have the dangerous areas closed off with warning sings so it`s pretty easy to see where you can and can not go. I think i went about 50 feet deep at one point.
The cabin we stayed in was very comfortable (A/C, tv, hot shower) and would have fit 4 people easily.
Tammi took us next door to a house with a huge garden area and water canals everywhere. Most of us jumped off bridges and decks into the deep, cold water canals and had to climb out way out.
Overwall, our trip to Devil`s Den was amazing. I would recommend that everyone put this on their list of places to dive.
