The candidates are placed in to groups of 6 or 7, there are 38 candidates total. My group is VERY diverse: Moscow (with his translator), Copenhagen, Bogata, Miami, Cairo, and me Herndon. We did orientation, paperwork, roe of the course director, when over the schedule and then we hit the pool. Rescue workshop and skills demo. Not 20 more like 12, no surprises. It was interesting watching the techniques of others.
