South Pacific Ocean

Hello DiveBuddies,

My wife and I are travelling to Moorea in late October. We are staying on a private estate called Te Nunoa. It is owned by an expat and her French Polynesian husband.

Moorea is an island that is about 15 miles west of Tahiti at about 17 degrees south latitude. Moorea is supposed to have beautiful reefs, lots of pelagic fish, and brilliant and vibrant colors provided by the healthy coral.
We will be fishing also. We hope to catch a fish or two from one of these following species: blue marlin, black marlin, wahoo, yellowfin tuna, and dolphinfish. We have been told that Moorea is one of the prettiest places on earth; we hope so! We hope to SCUBA with some of the above listed sportfish as to see a marlin or tuna in the wild would be amazing.
We are flying from LAX directly to Tahiti on Tahiti Nui Airline. There are several dive operators on Moorea and several options for lodging.
Google search Te Nunoa and Laurel will email information about Tahiti and Moorea.
Gin Clear Water To All!
