Willow Springs ParkCome check out Willow Springs Park in Richland, PA. It is about 1.5 hours west of Philadelphia near Reading, PA. Drop off your non diving friends at the outlet stores in Reading and enjoy a beautiful day of diving in a beautiful scuba park. You won`t find the great visibility you are used to over at Dutch Springs, but you will never have a crowd and usually you won`t even see but a few other divers on the property. It is a very laid back atmosphere and camping on the property is available. There are new owners this year and they are making a lot of improvements to the property, including a new dive shop. They are really trying to make a nice place for divers, so lets give them the support they need. There are many underwater attractions to see including a steam shovel, a cement truck, a tanker body, many boats of various size, a school bus, fire truck, habitat( submerged milk tanker that was used for university student research in the 70’s) and the famous (I think it is famous) Quest. The Quest is a 72 foot sunken ship that offers divers opportunity for penetration dive training. Let me tell you, a dive on The Quest is worth the drive alone! If anyone would like more information or would like to dive at Willow Springs, drop me and email as I would be happy to meet up for a dive or two.

Hi Jason, thanks for the buddy request! I dove Willow Springs during 2 HDS dive rally`s in the late 90`s. Beautiful place and great venue w/ many good people! I need to get back in the saddle with diving & am taking a Nitrox course for a dive trip to Saba next April. Should be a good time!!

Have you ever done any diving in the Florida Keys?
