It’s a 45 gal storage container with wheels and a locking lid that I found at LOWES home supplies. I think this may be a California store? Not sure. The only modification I’ve done to it was drill a couple of holes on the bottom to drain any water. But besides that, it hold EVERYTHING I have except for the tank. I could fit a tank in there if it wasn’t my 150cf monster. I added 2 small locking lid storage box to hold the small things, a wet box and a dry box. And I’m all set! Instead of paying hundreds for a similar size Pelican, which I admit is MUCH more sturdy, this one is only $30. I have always hear about Clear Lake and the amazing visibility, but researching more it appears that with that great visibility, there’s really not much to see. So not too sure about that now. So I could dive either days and I’ll have a car. I’ll be in Portland but will travel most anywhere within several hours from there. WOuld like to dive a nice site with a buddy or maybe if there’s a dive boat going out that weekend. Will also need to rent gear while there too. Don’t want to lug my stuff up. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have no problems with night dives but I’ve never dove that canyon before and not so comfortable doing a night dive in an area I haven’t explored in the daytime previously. Unfortunately I won’t have time to do this. Anyone want to buddy up with me for a night dive there?
