Allison has been around the water all her life. She started with swimming lessons at the local YMCA, then at age 8 began SCUBA diving with her parents. Allison has more than 16 years teaching experience, she taught swimming lessons for the Red Cross at 14, and at 16 swimming, boating and lifeguarding through the Boy Scouts of America. In 2002 she was honored to teach at the Boy Scouts of America National Camp School. She is a DAN DES Instructor, an EFR Instructor, a PADI Instructor, and a high school Spanish and art teacher. Allison earned a Bachelors degree in Studio Art from the University of Kentucky, and a Masters Degree in Spanish from the University of Louisville. Currently she is PharmD candidate attending pharmacy school. Allison has also hiked more than 1400 miles on the Appalachian Trail, and sailed across the Atlantic from the Azores to Ireland.
