We wanted to but we actually didn’t. We were in the area well outside the reef (pretty much open ocean) and there was a lot of boat traffic so it would have been dangerous to hop in at that point. Our boat captain tried to "herd" them in towards the reef so we’d get to dive with them but the dolphins had a will of there own and kept heading out to sea. They were beautiful to see though.
