Description:

I’m moving to Mathias, West Virginia... lets check out some of the East Coast!

I’ve been diving at Lake Pleasant, Arizona and around San Carlos, Mexico. I certainly prefer the ocean, but I’ll take the lake for ease of access.

Places I’d like to dive in the future:  Malaysia\Philippines, Australia, The cenotes in the Yucatan Peninsula, California Kelp forests, around Hawaii, around the Mediterranean (like Cyprus?), Bonne Terre-MO, around the Caribbean... Pretty much everywhere.  :-)

Just got back from my first dives in Rocky Point.  Highlight was swimming underwater with the sea lions for sure.  :)  Ultimate dive will be the Great Barrier Reef - have you been?

Dived it a couple of years ago so I know what to expect. It was fun. And yes, having dived it wet before, dry is the way to go this time!

Check out a trip report from last time http://www.chumclub.org/forums/showthread.php?t=454&highlight=bonne+terre

thanks for that reply maybe I will contemplate another brand, I had been told that the Aries people had a prototype unit with an E-compass too at last years 06 show but it never went into production, i wonder if it was a battery issue. I also never thought of battery life, I was always concerned about a user replacable type, I will have to look into battery cost also.
